What is microcode?

Microcode is a Hack Club challenge where you ship tiny programs that fit in <64kb and we'll ship you retro software and hardware. Make games, make tools, make demos - prove that you don't need 32gb of RAM and a RTX5090 to make something awesome with tech.

How does this work?

Microcode will have three rounds, each with it's own challenge. For each round, you'll have two weeks to work on your project. After the two weeks, you'll submit your project for feedback and rating. Your projects will be rated by your fellow hackers on Originality, Depth, and Polish.
